What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over.
Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss.
Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?

Day 29. Tash Shack

Dig, Lazarus Dig!!!
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
Reached No 66 in the UK Charts in 2008

No 66?  Sweet mother of marshmellows I DESPAIR!  Swagger flibberty Jagger is a hit but real swaggering by a man with a real hard core porn tash gets only as far as 66?
What world have I brought my children into?
Well, the inevitable end times aside, this is an amazing song, it is downright dirty with that bass line and gets stuck in your head within 10 seconds.  It is nigh on impossible to actually dance too as proven by the video but it makes me smile and nod my head like a chicken anyway.  My love for Mr Cave is not a physical one though, that is all I am saying about that.....

How much is Chris working his Nick Cave look?
Good but too smiley yes?

Please make my suffering worth while!
